Caracal Lite is designed under a stateless, privacy-first execution model.
The application does not collect, store, process, or transmit Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from merchants or customers.
1. Data Collection
Merchant Data
Caracal Lite does not harvest or persist store-specific operational data.
The application does not maintain merchant databases, behavioral logs, or profiling systems.
Customer Data
The engine does not access, store, or transmit:
- Customer names
- Email addresses
- Payment information
- Shipping details
- IP addresses
- Behavioral tracking identifiers
No cookies, fingerprinting mechanisms, or tracking pixels are deployed.
Third-Party Sharing
Caracal Lite does not sell, rent, or share data with third parties.
No analytics frameworks or behavioral monitoring services are integrated into the runtime.
2. Execution Scope
Caracal Lite operates exclusively within the client-side browser environment via Shopify App Embed.
The engine executes in volatile runtime memory only and does not transmit operational data to external servers for processing.
No server-side session continuity is maintained.
3. Data Retention
Because Caracal Lite does not collect or store data, there is no data retention period.
All runtime context is discarded upon session termination.
4. Uninstallation & Data Deletion
Disabling or uninstalling Caracal Lite immediately removes the runtime from the storefront environment.
As the system does not maintain persistent storage, no additional data deletion request is required.
5. Regulatory Alignment
The application’s stateless architecture is designed to minimize data processing obligations and aligns structurally with modern data protection principles, including GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulatory frameworks.
Compliance obligations related to storefront configuration remain the responsibility of the merchant.
